You have read about schedules, extras, pets, products and seasons. If you want one last look at how cleaning changes through the year, see Recurring Cleaning Through the North Texas Seasons. This final guide pulls it all together into four simple steps to start your recurring maid service.
It is easier than most people expect. Here is how it works.
Step 1: Request a free quote
Start with the free quote form on our site. You will share a few details about your home:
- Number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Approximate size of the home.
- How often you would like cleaning: weekly, every two weeks, every three weeks or monthly.
- Pets and how many.
- Any extras you are interested in, like inside the oven, inside the fridge, baseboards or interior windows.
- Anything special about the home, like natural stone or a new build.
We reply with a price, usually the same day. Larger homes or homes with special conditions may need a quick look first so we can give an accurate price.
If you are not sure which schedule to pick, tell us about your household and we will help you choose.
Step 2: Pick your regular day and time
Once you have your price, pick a regular slot: the same day of the week and the same time of day for every visit. Recurring clients keep the same cleaner whenever possible, too.
A few things to think about when you choose:
- Before the weekend if you want the house ready for Saturday and Sunday.
- After the weekend if you want to clean up after a busy few days.
- During work or school hours if you would rather not be home.
- Around your pets if your dog does better crated at a certain time.
Step 3: Set up entry notes and payment
Next, we set up the details that make every visit easy:
- Entry notes: how to get in — key, lockbox, garage code or door code — plus pets, rooms to skip and how to lock up.
- Product preferences: if you want us to use your products on certain surfaces, let us know.
- Payment: add a card on file for online payment. Each visit is charged after it happens, so there is nothing to leave on the counter.
Everything goes into your notes on file, so you only have to share it once.
Step 4: Start with a deep clean
Your first visit is a deep clean. It covers everything in a regular visit plus the buildup that has collected over time: baseboards, door frames, soap scum, hard water spots, greasy cabinet fronts, dusty fans and vents.
It takes longer than a regular visit, and it is worth it. Once the house is at a clean baseline, every regular visit after it can keep it there.
Before the visit, do a quick pick-up — floors and counters clear — but do not pre-clean. That is our job. On cleaning day, you get a text when your cleaner is on the way.
After the first visit
Once your first clean is done, walk through the house and share feedback. What did you love? What would you like done differently? Your cleaner is learning your home, and early feedback shapes every visit after it.
From there, recurring service settles into a routine:
- Your cleaner comes on your regular day and time.
- You get a text when they are on the way.
- They clean to a room-by-room checklist.
- Payment happens online with your card on file.
- You rotate in extras when you want them.
- If a holiday, vacation or lake weekend gets in the way, just let us know and we will skip or move that visit.
Common questions before starting
Do I need to be home? No. Most clients are not home during visits.
Do I need to buy supplies? No. We bring our own supplies and equipment, and we can use your products if you prefer.
Can I change my schedule later? Yes. Just let us know if you want to go more or less often or change your day.
What if I need to skip a visit? Just let us know as early as you can.
Ready when you are
Starting recurring cleaning takes a few minutes of your time and gives you hours back every month. Families, couples, seniors and pet owners across Waxahachie, Midlothian, Mansfield and the south DFW area start this way every week.
